The distinctively shaped Dunaverty  Rock is a small headland between the beautiful Dunaverty Bay and the windswept Brunerican Bay on the south coast of the Kintyre Peninsula.

Sheltered from Roaring Cove in the east, and nestling in the lee of the rock, the former lifeboat buildings of Dunaverty, have undergone extensive restoration and are now available as modern self catering accommodation in this idyllic setting with panoramic sea views.

Blissfully isolated

The scenery is wonderful and wild. We came up when it was really sunny but it would be just as fun to stay here in any weather. Blissfully isolated.

Truly amazed at the location and beauty

When I first arrived at Donald’s rentals on the point, I was truly amazed at the location and beauty of this spot... Looking out through my windows in the morning I could see across to Ireland.

Unique and characterful self catering in a fabulous location

The location is dramatic to say the least, all crashing surf and wheeling sea-birds.

...As for the view from the front, well it really is breathtaking at times.

You simply must sit on the bench outside the cottage and watch the sunset over the beach, you will not wish to be anywhere else on the planet.
