The Sea Captains House is unique. Being on the second floor of an old lifeboat house it has the most marvellous views over the bay, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated but not cluttered. Donald is a very welcoming, friendly and helpful host. Tea , coffee, herbs, and fresh flowers were there to welcome us. Although on the tip of Kintyre it was easy to explore the area, walking, cycling or to get ferries to Gigha and the other islands. Kintyre has marvellous beaches, wildlife and lots of golf courses. If you like the idea of getting away from it all, this is the place to go. We recommend it highly.
