Worth 7 Stars Not a Mere 5 – Totally Fantastic

The Lifeboat Studio is in a fantastic location right next to the beach and the site of the old Dunaverty Castle and at the end of the Kintyre Way. The studio was exceptionally clean and all the beds were very comfortable for us four walkers. The shower was also excellent. It is a very peaceful location. Only minor points ( if you are bothered about technology ) is that the phone signal and wifi is intermittent. The Owner Donnie is exceptional. He made us feel very welcome. He offered to do some washing for us and then drove us to Campeltown early the following morning refusing any payment so that we could catch an early bus to Tarbet and ferry to start the Cowal Way walk.
